4/20/2023 0 Comments Hearthstone spellhunter![]() 3-health and Divine Shield are not uncommon among cheap cards, and the Trap will leave them on the board.įor bigger threats you can use Freezing Trap but it needs to be timed carefully. Defensive DutiesĮxploding Trap by itself is great for defending yourself against hordes of little minions. Remember that with Huffer or Misha it's either a great offensive or defensive tool, so it's worth a risk if you need to pull either out of the hat. You can never be sure what To My Side will summon, but your opponent won't like it. ![]() Later, it's another tool in your finishing arsenal. Early, use them to clear enemy minions: don't worry about the face damage too much. With luck, you'll get three or four blows out of it. Once the danger has passed, you'll still have an ace up your sleeve.Įaglehorn Bow is a powerhouse in this deck because you're also running so many secrets. Keep a Spellstone and hit them in the face with what you have. If you're playing against a deck you think runs board clear effects like Hellfire and they don't use it, they may be waiting to see what else you summon. Let the pack wreck havoc while using your hero power and other summoning and damage-dealing cards to finish off the enemy. If you get it charged up, it puts 24 points of stats down on turn 5. Your biggest damage engine is the Spellstone. This is essentially a mid-range deck, and your heavy hitters come in the middle of the curve. Don't be afraid to make trades in the initial part of the game. Use weapons and secrets to thin out enemy ranks. Your priority in the early game is simply to stay alive. It's a well-known card and canny opponents will trigger it while they've got cards to replace what it kills. Both are great for thinning out early aggro plays, but don't drop the Trap too early. Their synergy with played secrets makes them very powerful.Īgainst faster decks your other picks are Candleshot and Explosive Trap. Should you have that, or other secrets, also hold on to Eaglehorn Bow and Lesser Emerald Spellstone. ![]() They will often kill an enemy early minion, but leave whatever is summoned on the board for you to use. Animal Companion and Wandering Monster are perhaps the best all-round early cards. After that, add additional secrets - Snake Trap is particularly good. What do you fill all these possible spaces in your deck with? Deadly Shot is your first choice. It's a great mid-game play, and you should run it if you can, but there are alternatives. The only othe difficult choice here is To My Side. Deathstalker, the only other expensive card in the line-up, is optional. Rhok'Delar is the reason this deck exists, so you kind of need it. The Boomsday version of this deck is pretty good value. So the job of that deck is to make minions for you, instead. Its power activates if you have no minions in your deck. Spell Hunter is a peculiar but powerful deck engendered by the legendary weapon Rhok'Delar. So let's finish up this current iteration of the best decks with one for a class not yet covered: Hunter. ![]() This is an attempt at a huge cash grab and with play to earn card games on blockchains starting to mature, this greedy, reckless, and all around toxic business model will be this games undoing.Soon the Year of the Raven will be upon us, and much in Hearthstone will change. This is the exact type of garbage that has thinned the player base to record lows yet blizzard response so far has bern to speed up the meta to the point that every one of the hundreds of cards that existed before hand are now useless and wasted money. Even shadow reaper required the use of Raza to fully activate anduin and even then there was no way for priest to outright burn you in 1 turn after playing it. The truth is they either need to slow that quest down by 3 turns or nerf the crap out of the reward. I can ramp up and have 50+ armor by turn 6 and still be helpless to survive more than 3 turns from there and in doing so i would have to neglect offense entirely meaning i have no chance in killing quest spell hunter. Even shadow reaper anduin required turn 8 before they just start popping off and even then priest did not have enough burn in deck to outright kill you by turn 5 without ever interacting with the board.Įven my big armor control druid can not maintain health long enough to survive death by hand from this busted garbage hunter. Not since the days of knights of the frozen thrown with shadow reaper highlander priest have i seen anything as broken as this crap. Blizzard is getting so bad about releasing insane power creeps and then doing absolutely nothing to balance it.
